Helen Humphry

Vice Chair of Governors, Appointed Governor

As one of the original founders of Chichester Free School, Helen played a large part in researching and writing the original proposal which was approved by the Department of Education in 2012. She then worked as the Project Lead, taking a key role in opening the school in 2013. Helen is passionate about the vision of the school, to nurture, challenge and inspire and feels incredibly lucky and proud to be involved with such an amazing venture.

Helen grew up in Maidenhead and has had a very successful and varied career including sales and account management, running a pub in London and more recently, working for St Wilfrid’s Hospice looking after their communications and marketing. She now heads up business development for a South African insurance company that is breaking into the UK market for the first time. She lives in North Bersted with her husband and daughter who is a pupil at CFS.
