Claire Gale

Role:English Teacher
Qualification:BA (Hons) PGCE, QTS

After completing her BA Hons in English Literature from the University of Portsmouth, and a QTS via the Graduate Teacher Programme, Miss Gale has worked as an English Language and Literature teacher and Leader for the past 10 years. Miss Gale is passionate about exploring the wider world and different communities over time through literature and has a penchant for 19th Century English fiction. Also, a certified copywriter and proof-reader, Miss Gale writes professionally for a variety of local businesses and enjoys bringing this love of words to the classroom.

Growing up in Hampshire, and now living in West Sussex for nearly eight years, her overriding passion is the outdoors. With a love of the South Downs National Park and surrounding green spaces, Miss Gale can often be found hiking and running in the local countryside in her spare time. A qualified running coach and gym instructor, Miss Gale hopes to bring her passion for exercise to Chichester Free School’s cross-curricular programme.
