Mrs Fry has always been immensely interested in Science taking particular attention to Biology, including the anatomy and physiology of humans and other animals. She took Zoology at Manchester University alongside Biochemistry and Physiology. She has an allotment where she grows her own vegetables and fruit. She is adept at turning spare vegetables into spicy chutney and excess fruit into delicious jam. Mrs Fry is a keen cyclist having completed the Hayling to Paris challenge, a grueling 400 miles in 5 days. She has taught Science for 22 years in a variety of places and remains passionate about educating young people.
