Mr Baumann has always had an interest in the natural world, inspired by his need to explain the things he saw around him everyday. He studied Zoology with Marine Zoology at Bangor University. This led him from his career in account management, in industry, into the teaching profession. Mr Baumann also has a passion for the arts, especially photography and holds a degree in Photographic Arts from Westminster University, which he gained as a mature student. In his spare time, Mr Baumann indulges his passion for cycling, collecting carnivorous plants and playing the guitar.
