Year 9 Virus Project
Over the last term Year 9 have been working hard to create a clay sculpture based on the theme of Cells and Viruses. It was wonderful to see so many weird and wonderful creations coming to life and it was great to give pupils the opportunity to develop their skills when working three dimensionally. It also gave Miss Hicks and Mr Lean the chance to fire up “The Duchess” our affectionately named kiln which was donated by a parent. We are pleased to report that we have since completed several successful firings, so watch this space for more ceramic work in the future.
