CFS is looking to appoint anÂ HLTA to work predominantly within our Secondary phase of the school, supporting pupils of different abilities. This is a permanent position which is full-time and will include:
â€¢ Supporting pupils in accessing the curriculum in accordance with the special educational needs (SEN) code of practice and disabilities legislation.
â€¢ Devise clearly structured activities that interest and motivate pupils and advance their learning.
â€¢ Contribute to the selection and preparation of resources suitable for pupilâ€™s interests and abilities.
â€¢ Supporting children with their learning and personal development both individually and in groups
â€¢ Provide clear objectives, content and intended outcomes for the learning activities
â€¢ Fostering good behaviour and care and consideration for others and the learning environment
â€¢ Support teaching and learning inside and outside of the classroom by working with identified children and focus groups
â€¢ Delivering intervention programmes and reporting on the progress made by pupils
â€¢ Contributing to the assessment and progress of pupilâ€™s learning and the maintenance of records
â€¢ Supporting school events, trips and visits
â€¢ Undertake break, lunch and other duties as required
