This section of our website aims to provide the Chichester Free School community with dates and times of our forthcoming terms as well as the flow of our school day.

Temperance Term 2017

Start and Finish Times
Reception 9.05am until 3.50pm. 3.20pm finish on a Friday
Year 1 – Year 6 8.55am until 4.00pm (activities within the school day), 3.30pm finish on a Friday
Years 7 – 11 – 8.20am until 4.30pm. 4.00pm finish on a Friday.
Children will be able to arrive at any time from 7.30am and join our breakfast club. We trust this flexibility will help working parents but will have the added benefit of easing congestion at start times. There is no charge for this unless you wish your child to have a light breakfast where a charge of 50p will apply.
The school will close at 6pm.
Wrap-around care (WAC) charges are as follows:
4.00 – 4:30pm – £2.50
4:30 – 5.00pm – £2.50
5.00 – 6.00pm – £5.00
* Please note that co-curricular clubs are a compulsory part of the school day. Some co-curricular clubs may finish later than 4.30pm. There will be no charge for WAC for siblings or pupils waiting for car shares if the other pupil’s club goes beyond 4.30pm. However, the charge will stand after 5pm. Any parent wishing to book their child in WAC must email Miss Cook on email@example.com to make a reservation.
Secondary pupils have assemblies on a Monday and Friday. Primary pupils have a celebration assembly on a Friday. Primary and Secondary pupils have their own House assembly on a Wednesday and the whole school have a full house assembly once every half term.
Compulsory activities will take place for all year groups except Reception.
Years 1 – 62 will have activities incorporated into the school day.
Years 7 – 9 have compulsory activities and supervised study built into the school day.
Year 10 and 11 have compulsory activities, supervised study and additional GCSE study built into the school day.
