  • Our Summer Fair: Saturday 30th June

Our Summer Fair: Saturday 30th June

    19 June 2018

The Summer Fair is fast approaching – Saturday 30th June. 12-3pm.

This Friday (22nd June) is donations day for the Seniors.  To thank the Seniors for bringing in donations, we are having a non-school uniform day.

These donations are vital for the Summer Fair and we really need the Seniors to help bring in the donations – in order to raise as much money for the Fair as possible.

So this Friday, we are asking for the students to bring in donations as follows:

NOCTUA HOUSE – Bottles for the bottle tombola
AQUILA HOUSE –  Chocolate donations (wrapped/boxed and in date)
PHOENIX HOUSE – General tombola items – this can be anything from an unwanted gift set/christmas present, tins of biscuits, tins of food etc
PEGASUS HOUSE – Bottles for the bottle tombola

Anyone who doesn’t want to bring in a donation, should pay £1.
Please ask your child to drop donations at the Main School Reception.

  • Our Year 7 day trip to France

Our Year 7 day trip to France

    18 December 2017

Many thanks to students, parents and staff for supporting this new and exciting venture for the languages department. The trip aimed to given year 7 students a taste of French life at Christmas time and to allow them to try speaking a little French. We set off in the dark and returned in the dark but had a thoroughly sparkly time whilst there!

Students were able to see snow settled on low lying land in the French countryside and admire the distinctive architecture of the city of Lille. At the market they tried out a bit of French to buy chocolates, Christmas decorations, snacks and gifts to take home. The big wheel and café were also popular stops.

Particular thanks must go to the accompanying staff Mrs Agate, Mrs Melendez-Ruiz, Mr Day and Mrs Hobby.

Kieran will be serving his homemade super curry, Mac will be on the homemade soup stall whilst Helen and Jo in our cafe’ will be working some magic, with teas and coffees for everyone!  Don’t forget Katie on the cake stall, such a popular stall – with so many lovely cakes and cupcakes for everyone!

A huge thanks to Tim, who has been working his little elf shoes off getting some amazing Raffle prizes.   We have some fabulous prizes including, food hampers, £50 jewellery voucher, tickets for golfing experiences, Beauty vouchers, Portsmouth F.C. ball signed by the players and managers, paint balling and lots, lots more!

Father Christmas still has some spaces available for the children to come and visit him and get a rather lovely present!  Do email Beverley, Head Elf at to reserve a space!

Finally, please do keep sending in your kind donations!  We are still looking for bottles for our bottle tombola, chocolate for our chocolate tombola, soft teddies/bears for our teddy tombola and any new items for our Grand tombola.  Friday 1st December we are asking for donations for the cake stall, so please be generous and send in your donations.

Bring the family, bring your friends – we all look forward to seeing you on the day!

  • Remembrance Sunday

    Remembrance Sunday

    16 November 2016

We were proud to march together as a school at the Remembrance Sunday parade. Members of the public emailed our Principal, Mr Martyn to tell him how moved they were by the excellent behaviour of our students throughout the procession.
