Year 5 & 6 Makebeth event
A Magical Makebeth Adventure!
Our Year 5 and 6 pupils had a fantastic time today as they enjoyed a very special performance of Makebeth, brought to us by the wonderful Cardboard Adventures.
This unique travelling theatre group combined live storytelling, drama and creative crafting to create a fun and interactive experience for the children. The children were absolutely brilliant throughout the performances. They behaved exceptionally well, joined in enthusiastically and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to become part of the story. There were lots of smiles, creativity and excitement, and it was wonderful to see everyone having such an amazing time!
A huge thank you goes to Culture Spark, an ongoing community arts initiative led by Chichester District Council in partnership with Chichester Festival Theatre and Pallant House Gallery, for fully funding this fantastic experience. This meant that the event was completely free for both our pupils and the school.
The children also had the opportunity to bring home the creations they made during the workshop, giving them a special reminder of their Makebeth adventure.
It was a truly memorable day, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it possible!
