A warm welcome to Chichester Free School (CFS). I am proud and very privileged to be Executive Principal of this thriving, vibrant and successful all through school. CFS is a very special place to learn and work; I have the pleasure in leading an experienced, passionate and motivated staff body, who work tirelessly for the young people in our care.

At CFS, we have high expectations of all pupils throughout the Primary and Secondary phases. Our pupils are challenged to have uncompromising ambition in their academic endeavours. The school values of ‘Nurture, Challenge and Inspire’ underpin everything we do. Pupils receive a wide and varied curriculum and inspiring teaching alongside exceptional pastoral support, and a wide range of opportunities through our co-curricular offer, House System and Pupil Leadership programme.

CFS is a strong, supportive and inclusive community. Positive relationships between teachers, pupils and parents are paramount to the School’s success. From the age of 4 to 16, pupils here are truly known as individuals, and are proud of their ‘happy and safe school’.

We are very lucky to be housed in state-of-the-art facilities in the beautiful cathedral town of Chichester, close to one of the south coast’s sandiest beaches. But we also ensure that our pupils are continually looking outwards, growing up into truly global citizens. Our aim is that all pupils leave CFS with the empathy, resilience, tolerance and passion to succeed and thrive.

The School has been rated as ‘Good’ in our first two Ofsted inspections, but we have ambitions to be even better. As Principal since September 2019, I am continually striving for excellence in all areas of school life, and am never complacent.

I hope you enjoy perusing the rest of the website, and finding out about all that CFS has to offer. We also welcome visits to the School.
