Metal Clay work
Since returning to school pupils in DT have been enjoying using metal clay with Mr Corser and Mrs Uffindell. Years 11 and 13 have made some copper trinkets and embellishments using this exciting material. We will now be expanding this through KS3, and pupils will be able work with copper, bronze and iron clay, and the best designer will be rewarded with the chance to make their design using silver clay! Objects made will be used to embellish ongoing work in textiles and wood, in addition to some stand alone objects of art.
We would like to thank all those who have paid the £20 contribution which covers food and DT practical work for a year. If you haven't yet paid this year please do so using Parentpay. This will enable us to continue to provide pupils with the opportunity to use metal clay and other exciting materials.
