


VE Day 80th Anniversary Ceremony
On Thursday after school, the CCF and school choir held a VE Day celebration for the 80th anniversary. The choir sang a variety of songs, Sgt. Evetts delivered a talk on the history of VE day and the human costs. One of our pupils shared her findings from interviewing her grandmother about WW2 and all gathered held a 2 minute silence to remember those that fell during the war. Residents from local residential homes and some of our CFS community including Governors and parents came along too.
