What a sporting week we've had
We've an amazing sporting week we've just had. Huge congratulations to our Year 7 netball team who went to their first fixture and represented the school incredibly. The respect they showed to the other pupils and staff’ was just wonderful to see. Highlight was a win against the Bourne school 2-1. Harry C, Year 7, ran in the Sussex Cross Country Championships, running 3.4km in an amazing 14.19 minutes! He came 33rd out of 200 runners which is an incredible achievement. Well done Harry.
Finally our Year 7 rugby team played several matches of high energy, commitment, power and speed which saw the boys win some matches finishing 4th out of 8 teams. The pupils demonstrated a real "never give up mentality" and have shown the CFS community as well as West Sussex Schools that CFS is ready to dine at the top table and compete against any team. Players of the tournament were Marley P and Joe C with excellent communication from Thomas K.
