Work Experience Successes

Many thanks to all involved with the Year 10 Work Experience programme. The response from employers has been overwhelmingly positive with loads of fantastic feedback such as:

“Eleanor has had an amazing week. She has been to a farm and taken photographs of strawberries, birds, ducks. She has learned how to make portraits and also learnt about new-born photography. She has gained  confidence and she is very happy.”

“I just wanted to send you an email to pass on our feedback about the two students that came to us, Sidlesham Primary School last week.  They were both very enthusiastic, engaged and generally were a credit to your school.  They performed all tasks asked of them as well as working on their own initiative.  They also built very good relationships with the children whilst remaining professional at all times.  We look forward to welcoming more of your students if the standard of their attitude is as good.”

“She made such a good impression that Downview Primary School have asked her to come back for the afternoon of Wednesday 10th July for the Pirate Day performance in front of all the parents. She put in so much work helping me create and teach the dance and drama piece.  It would be great if she could be there to see the project through.”

“Emily has learnt so much this week about children and adults with learning disabilities and those living with Dementia. She has happily taken on extra research to help her understand how people learn differently. Emily has really embraced the whole experience.”

It’s been a pleasure to have Lloyd working with us this week, I’m glad he has enjoyed it. He’s a lovely, funny person and has been a great help. We hope he has a great summer and that his GCSE’s go well. “

“Ash has been a delight to have in the studio, he was able to process the information very quickly in the different tasks, understanding the briefs and projects. He has demonstrated a very positive attitude and an excellent problem-solving approach. From his feedback I have gathered he has enjoyed the work and being part of a design studio, So, a very well done from all of us at TGDH.”
