Year 1 Toy Workshop
This week Year 1 pupils are kicking off their topic ‘A Toy Story’. The children have come into school dressed as a toy and took part in a Virtual Field Trip. The Novium Museum in Chichester have sent in toys from now and in the past for the children to learn about. After watching videos introducing the sessions, the children took part in workshops including playing old games, discussing the materials toys were made from, the origins of ‘Jack in the Box’ and solved Alice in Wonderland style riddles. What an amazing day we have all had.
