Year 2 Infant Agility

On Tuesday 10 December, 12 Year 2 students attended a Chichester Cluster KS1 Infant Agility festival which was designed by Sportshall Athletics to develop childrens core skills. At the event students took part in 9 different activities including; throwing, balancing, jumping, pushing, collecting and skipping. The event was run by local sport leaders from The Regis School with 14 schools taking part in the fixture with each school bringing 12 students each. All students worked really hard at all the activities and represented the school in such a positive way.

At the end of the festival individual awards were given out to the top individual on each activity. Three of our students gained those awards; Lexie Williams - best skipper, Mariella Mitchell – best skipper and best pitcher and Henry Mitchell – best bowler. Congratulations  to all students who were all fantastic and made Miss Oxley and Mrs Kale very proud!
